For the first time, I have harvested a fairly good sized batch of my own aloe vera gel! I’m looking forward to being able to use my own aloe in my products! It was a bit time consuming, but fairly easy process.

I froze the aloe vera gel in ice cube trays. As I need the gel I’ll be able to just weigh out the cubes for the amount I need and let them defrost. I always enjoy when I am able to use my own ingredients from start to finish. There is something very satisfying in that!

You have been busy! Fascinating. Do you have soap? I did get some at Colleen’s and Treasure Chest but there was a limited selection. Nice chatting the other day!!Take careCarol

Except for some of the charcoal and tea tree (because I’d just made it and had a lot), I took all my soap to Treasure Trove and Colleen’s. I’m starting on Soapmaking now but have/had a few orders I need to fill first. Will probably be mid-March before I’m re-stocking since it’ll need time to cure. I’ll make sure the plumeria is one of the first batches! 😁
