Shop Hours Update & News

We have some family things going on over the course of the next month, so I am going to be closed for some days/weeks to enjoy our get-togethers. I hate to inconvenience anyone by not being open for regular hours, but after the last two years, I take nothing for granted. Family is important, and you never know what’s around the corner. I now embrace these opportunities when I can. Hopefully, you will all understand. As a sole proprietor, there I times I must close. I do, however, always try to post in advance of any closures on my website and Facebook page.

The shop will be CLOSED Friday, July 29th through August 6th, reopening for regular business hours (Thursday to Saturday, 10-3) on Thursday, August 11th. We will also be closed August 25th through 27th, as we are hosting a family reunion. Again, I apologize for all the closures. If you need anything during those times, please feel free to contact me to arrange porch pick-up or set up an appointment.

I have had many ask me about doing classes this year. As you can tell, July and August aren’t leaving me much time! I’m hoping to schedule at least two classes in September: Herbal Infusions & Extracts and Basic Soapmaking. Stay tuned for more information on that.

I’ve been working on getting some new products into the shop. It’s not easy, because I keep running out of the old favorites and have to keep those made up! LOL I’ll be posting some of the new items soon, so please be sure you are following the website and/or the Cottonboro Farm Facebook page for the latest and greatest. Wishing everyone a wonderful remainder of the summer!
