My soaps are hand-made right here at Cottonboro Farm with high-quality ingredients. You’ll notice the difference right away from the mass-produced variety, which often dries your skin out.

Standard bars normally use coconut, palm or palm kernel, olive and castor oils, water, lye and pure essential oils for fragrance. (I do use fragrance oils for those scents where the pure oil would be too expensive for soap making.) I use natural colorants, such as clay & chlorella. The size runs approximately 3.5-4 ounces. Specialty bars use a number of more luxurious or exotic oils, specific for their use, and tend to be slightly smaller at 3-3.5 ounces. Baby Soap

A gentle bar in just the right size. Rice bran oil infused with calendula petals, coconut, palm, sweet almond and castor oils. Unscented for babies sensitive skin. Makes a great gift when paired with our other baby products!

Bay Rum

A favorite scent of many men – and the women in their life! A standard recipe bar with Bay Rum fragrance oil. No colorants added.

Chamomile

Standard soap recipe; however, olive oil is infused with chamomile. Available with or without decorative chamomile flowers on top of bar. This is an extra large bar but selling at standard price as is from last year’s stock. Only a few bars left!

Charcoal & Tea Tree Detoxifying Soap

Made with activated charcoal powder, this soap will deep-clean and detoxify your skin.  Gentle enough for all skin types to use as a facial soap or an all-over body bar.  Tea tree and lavender, along with the tamanu and neem oils, help clear skin, making this an excellent soap for those with troubled or acne-prone skin.  This soap may also be excellent for use with rashes and poison ivy.

“Perc Up!” Coffee Soap

This specialty bar is handy to keep at the kitchen sink to remove cooking odors from hands, such as garlic and onions. Coffee grounds give it scrubbing power for gardener’s hands. Also makes a nice exfoliating “perc-up” for your morning shower.

Contains water, coffee and grounds, olive, coconut, palm, and castor seed oils and pure coffee essential oil.

Gentleman Farmers

Scented with lemongrass and cedarwood, this soap has a wonderful, “outdoors” aroma.  Corn meal is added for a bit of texture, making it a great gardener’s or exfoliating soap.

Lavender-Oatmeal Exfoliating Soap

A favorite of many, this aromatic lavender bar is sure to please. A standard recipe bar with lavender buds and oatmeal for gentle exfoliation. Made with pure lavender essential oil.

Lemongrass

Personally one of my favorite scents! Added bonus though – bugs hate the smell. Standard soap bar with Water, Coconut, Palm, olive and Castor Oils, Lye and pure lemongrass essential oil, but horsetail has been infused into the olive oil. Horsetail is rich in silica, which adds elasticity to tissues and strengthens nails, hair and skin.

Lily-of-the Valley (Currently Sold Out)

Made with a creamy blend of oils for lather and moisturizing effects; calendula infused extra-virgin olive & sunflower, coconut, palm kernel flakes, avacado, babassu, castor and sweet almond. Chlorella is added for it’s anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits, as well as it’s pretty color. Top that all off with the intoxicating scent of Lily of the Valley. (My personal favorite!) While I normally use only pure essential oils for my soaps, unfortunately, that is not an option for Lily of the Valley. Therefore, this soap is made with a high-quality fragrance oil.

Moisturizing Bath Bar

Excellent bar for ridding yourself of dry, itchy skin! A wonderful blend of olive, coconut, palm, avocado & jojoba oils, with a good helping of Shea Butter. Scented with Sweet Orange pure essential oil.

Old Fashioned Tallow Soap

Handcrafted with tallow I rendered myself from local beef suet. Currently, only unscented is available. Makes a great moisturizing bath or shaving bar or may be used as a laundry bar and stain remover. Truly a versatile and well-loved bar of soap!

Peppermint Eucalyptus

Eye-opening Peppermint & Eucalyptus Bar. Standard ingredients with rose and french green clays added for color and skin benefits. Great cool weather soap to clear those stuffy sinuses!

One of my best sellers, this standard bar has the invigorating scent of peppermint and rosemary, derived from pure essential oils. An added plus, the scent helps to repel the bugs!

Sage & Apple Cider Vinegar Facial Bar (Out of Stock)

Sage may be beneficial for those with normal to oily or acne-prone skin due to its astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. Chlorella is an algae that provides nutrition to the skin and is said to have acne-fighting properties and protect against the aging of skin. Apple Cider Vinegar contains alpha-hyrdoxy acids, which encourage cell turnover and been show to decrease the appearance of dark spots and wrinkles. It is also anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.

This soap may be beneficial for conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema and/or seborrheic dermatitis.

Ingredients: Sage infused Extra-virgin Olive Oil, Filtered Water, Coconut Oil, Sage infused Sunflower Oil, Dandelion infused Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Lye, Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, Chlorella and Sage pure essential oil.

Thyme & Witch Hazel Facial Bar (Out of Stock)

New Specialty Soap!  Made with the skin-healing properties of raw honey & tamanu oil, antiseptic thyme and astringent witch hazel, this acne-fighting, skin softening soap is sure to be a big hit!  Tamanu Oil is also antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and has skin regenerative properties.  Sunflower oil adds a silky lather.
