Whipped Tallow Skin Cream
Discover the incredibly nourishing benefits of beef tallow for your skin! Tallow is very close to the sebum in human skin, so it absorbs easily. (Only use a very small amount.) It is loaded with vitamins and nutrients and even acts as an anti-oxidant. It doesn’t clog pores and it great for problem skin conditions, such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.

I am very happy to announce the beginning of a new line of skin products made from local beef (Top of the Hill Farm) tallow. I slow render the tallow right here at Cottonboro Farm myself. Tallow is what our ancestors used on the farm for centuries to pamper their hard-working, weather-worn skin. Tallow is closely aligned to the oils in our own skin. It is a wonderful healing moisturizer laden with vitamins and nutrients to replenish those we lose as we age. If you, like me, are one of the few people who are sensitive to coconut oil, or nothing seems to help your severely dry skin, then you’ll definitely want to give tallow a try!

Thick, soothing cream for dry, itchy skin patches, such as eczema and psoriasis, rashes, sunburn and irritated areas. Great to use as an aftershave cream. This cream may also be used as a face cream for acne or rosacea. (Test a small area first to see how your skin responds to it.) Because this cream is made with babassu oil, it is a good cream for those who are allergic to coconut oil. “Queen of Hungary’s Water”
(Never heard of it? You can get the basics here.) Recipes vary widely. Mine contains the following herbs infused in raw, organic apple cider vinegar, strained and diluted 1:1 with witch hazel. Lemon Balm, Chamomile, Rose Petals, Calendula, Comfrey Leaf, Lemon Peel, Rosemary Leaf, Sage Leaf. Lavender Oil was added. This product makes a wonderful toner, but can also be used on sunburns and burns, bug bites, your hair/scalp…. It’s astringent action is also great on those under-eye bags.

Essential Serum #1 (Facial Oil)
I am so excited about this new (oil based) serum! I put it on before bed, after cleansing & toning, and I cannot believe how soft and hydrated my skin feels in the morning! If you have oily skin, you might shudder at putting oil on your face, but you will be surprised at how the correct quality oils are able to balance the skin. This serum is appropriate for any skin type and smells wonderful. It is one of my favorite products.
